Gastronomic Kopitiam @ Sunway Tunas, Bayan Baru

Gastronomic Kopitiam is another place where we used to dine for our lunch. It is a western + chinese cuisine restaurant where you can find budget set lunch with no additional taxes impose on your bill. It is located somewhere near to PISA or rather say it is in Sunway Tunas. Most of the time, I will order Tomyam Fried Rice which only costs me RM 5.00. :P Budget lunch for me.

Talking about the environment, is cozy and comfortable for you to dine in. Very important is, this restaurant does have aircond! For those who need air cond to eat thier meal, dont worry on this. One thing you need to be tolerant with the restaurant is, it might be slow when they are a lot of customers dine in. They only have 2 chefs in the kitchen and 1 waitress. It is more like a family business.

They do have set lunch for both oriental and westerm cuisine. a soup and a drink will serve along with the main dish. I forgot the price for the set lunch but definitely is not more than RM 10. Budget lunch what... so do check this restaurant out if you pass by sunway tunas... :)

Kim Gary Restaurant 2009-2010 Member's Vouchers

To me, Kim Gary Member is the best FnB membership so far. It gives more than you pay for the membership fee. Other than those benefits mentioned before, you can stil conitnue to enjoy free meal voucher every year provided you pay RM 10 to get the above full set of vouchers from July 2009 to June 2010 and it also includes 50% birthday discount.

This is July'09 Free Meal- Sandwiches! I used the voucher immdiately after I bought the new set of free meal vouchers for members. It was on a few days after my birthday. So at the same time, my colleagues enjoyed the 50% birthday discount too. Due to the 50% discount limited for 6 pax and we have more than 6 so no choice, I've ordered something "budget" for my lunch. I know I wont be selected for 50% discount. That's why I ordered the below: Chicken Herbal Soup Noodles. The price is approx. Rm 7.90 if I'm not mistaken.

The noodles and the free sandwiches. However, we didn't managed to finish the sandwiches. It was later took away and I brought back home and gave it to my mum. My Mum said GOOD! I don't know how is the taste because, I was super full~ cannot take in anymore food.

For August 2009, I got free "Yin Yong Wan Tan Soup" aka dumplings soup. It was my lunch actually. I had it with a thick toast. Guess how much I paid for my lunch? Is only RM 2.00+ cheap? Yup, again i got 50% off for my thick toast. Another colleague's birthday and we used the 50% birthday voucher. This time everyone of us were entitled for 50% discount. Why? becuase mostly ordered Ala-Carte. If you order set lunch, it gonna limit you to 6 pax but not applicable for Ala-carte order. :) So, if you have more than 6 pax, remember to order Ala-Carte so that everyone of your friends are able to enjoy 50% discount!!! :)

Roti Bakar Kopitiam's Satay Chicken Fried Rice

A few weeks back, due to limited choice of our daily lunch, one of my lunchmates proposed a new palce for lunch-Roti Bakar Kopitiam at Ivory Plaza. I've ordered the above Satay Chicken Fried Rice. Luckily, it suit my taste alhtought i had been waiting for it for 45 minutes and I was the last one to be served. Damn it. My colleagues had given a positive feedback on this roti bakar kopitiam and she said will re-visit. May be their menu is different from Old Town. Cozy environment for chit chat and online as they provide free WIFI! Check this out :P

Colorful Biscuit: Atap Chee

I'm eating ATAP CHEE right now. You know what is this? I think most of the Chinese know and have seen this colorful biscuits before. It is one of the favorite biscuits for kids and sometimes it is used for prayer. You will see this kind of biscuits when there is any god's birthday or 7th month of the lunar calendar. ATAP CHEE will be my tibits or snack food during working hours. :P
