During last Hari Raya holiday, I was in Ipoh for a Leo Meeting. After meeting, we went to town to have our "Dinner" Ipoh Nga Choy Kai. When we were on our way heading to Aun Keh Nga Choy Kai, I saw new Ipoh Fuh San Dim Sum Restoran... They have moved and relocated in a very nice double story shop lots. Looks not bad from outside. I heard that they have new menu after moving to this new place. Have you tried before? I should pay a visit for my next trip to Ipoh! :)
Bengawan Solo, have you ever heard about this name before? I knew about this name since I joined my current company where I worked under a Singaporean Boss! Bengawan Solo is one of the famous cake house in Singapore. Everytime my ex-Boss visited Penang, she surely will bring us Bengawan Solo Kuih. Among the favourites are our mouth-watering Lapis Sagu (9-layers Kueh). Bengawan Solo has more than 20 varieties. If you are interested, you may go to its website and check it out what are the varieties they have. Althought, my ex-boss no longer in my current company but we are now becoming best friend. One of my colleagues visited her last few weeks and bought Bengawan Solo Mooncake back instead of the Kuih-Muih. Again, this is something special to all of us- Snow Skin Mini Size Mooncakes come in a box of 9 different flavours. We like the durian flavour and green tea. Seriously, it tastes good and you wont feel "gerli" for taking more. It is small and yet it is enough for you to eat. Trust me, it is nice.... cehck it out if you are in Singapore at this moment......

I had this Ramadhan Set Dinner at Chilis Gurney Plaza a few weeks back. I was so "desperate" to have Lamb Shoulder while walking in Gurney Plaza. Since it has been a long time that I did not dine in Chilis Restaurant, I suggested Chilis for Dinner to my friends who were with me at Gurney Plaza after a meeting. Suprisingly, they did not say NO to me. I gave them a condition whereby I pay for the bill with credit card and they pay me in cash. Why? Because I did not have much cash in my wallet at that time. If I dine in Chilis Restaurant, of course Lamb Shoulder or Lamb Shank will be my 1st choice. I ordered the ramadhan set dinner with Lamb Shoulder which served with a small bowl of Soup, a Main Dish and a Dessert. If I'm not mistaken, the price for the ramadhan set is cheaper than the normal order. It costs me around RM 40. Value for money la. Personally, I love the soup.... tasty and creamy. Anyway, if you wish to dine in this restaurant, make sure your stomach is empty enought. Why? this is becuase the portion of the main dish is BIG. I didnt manage to finish all. I took away the mash patato and french fries for Victor... :)
